The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) supports a “circle” of active researchers in countries around the world.
As globalization accelerates, the international flow of talent is rapidly increasing, including participation in research at overseas organizations and in international academic societies. For researchers, international experience not only engenders personal growth, but the networks with talented researchers cultivated while overseas become a catalyst for the kind international collaborations that yield excellent research results.
By creating communities with other researchers, joint research may be conducted, and information exchanged on research careers, study sessions held, or friendly get-togethers organized, threreby allowing researchers to stimulate each other in ways that enhance their performance.
JSPS Researchers Network (JSPS-Net) supports networking among researchers and research-support personnel interested in creating collegial communities and pursuing activities like those mentioned above. While helping to expand such activities, the site works to promote and facilitate international research exchange.
