The JSPS Alumni Association of Indonesia (JAAI) is committed to fostering collaboration on critical issues related to science and technology. In this vein, JAAI members actively participated in a seminar titled “Temu Mitra Tata Kelola dan Restorasi Lahan Gambut”, focused on advancing peatland restoration efforts in Indonesia.
Dr. Haris Gunawan, a prominent member of JAAI and Deputy of the Peatland Restoration Agency (BRG) at the time, played a key role in the seminar. His participation highlights JAAI’s dedication to supporting initiatives that address environmental challenges in Indonesia.
The seminar aimed to bring together various stakeholders, including academics, researchers, and industry representatives. By facilitating dialogue and collaboration, the event aimed to develop effective strategies for restoring and managing peatlands in Indonesia.
